All stuff was positive in general. I just observed one stuff member on the cafe side who seemed not to pay attention or clarify what the customers orders are really are. She's a good worker, but she seemed to want to multitask, which didn't seem to work. She's also need to be retrained about customers service language. She seemed to "swipe her tongue" at customers when a customer raised an issue about their order. For example, 3 ladies wanted 2 orders to share (affordability), but she served them 3 . She assumed that bcz the ladies were 3, they wanted 3 plates. The lady who was buying protested. Then the lady said it was ok even though she had ordered 2, she could pay for the 3 as well. However, a few minutes later when one would think the issue had been settled, I heard her shout over the counter, "I can refund it!" The ladies left most of the food on the table. I was with a friend and ordered 2 smoothies. We sat at a table. But when she served the smoothie, it was 1. So I mentioned that I needed 2 smoothies. She took her time to make it. When I asked where it is, she seemed to be impatient with me & said something like " I'll spare you today." I think the cafe's plan is to serve as many orders as possible, but there's a disorganization there. When one pays, they don't say where the ready orders are placed. I saw people pay & stand aside, then try to interrupt to ask "where is my order". I think the lady needs to be given a refresher on how to approach customers whether or not she thinks their concern is stupid or not. Customers always seek a good experience for their money.

We needed to stay near the Hilton without having to pay Hilton prices & fees. This was the best alternative. The 9th floor view was excellent. The heater and electric thermostat worked well. The room was clean. King bed was two beds placed together, but it was comfortable. Walls and door could be better sound proofed, but it's still worth it at this price point for a hotel in D.C. The television had a variety of channels, a lot of them played sports and movies. The lobby has an excellent cafe with dining area, private study nooks, and lounge area. There is also a restaurant at the hotel, but we didn't eat there. The walk to the nearest Metro station was about 15 minutes so it's not the most convenient, but the street that leads you there are lined with a big sidewalk with trees, restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops on both sides. So, it's a safe, comfortable, and fun walk. There are also a few groceries nearby and there's also a Safeway about 15 minutes away.

I stayed in a 4-bed female room, which was quite spacious and super clean. Each bed had a curtain, so it felt very private, and bedside USB ports and wall plug to charge all devices. No issues with the ensuite either; you had some shelves to put your stuff away while using the space and the shower pressure was divine. Very big lockable drawers under the beds, just bring your own lock. There's a well equipped little gym, and an outside pool (though I did not use tgus). There's also a laundry room and the reception lady was quite helpful in explaining how to use it. Also great to be able to leave our luggage after checkout free of charge.

I liked the location, its 1.9 miles to the White House and 1 mile to the zoo in the opposite direction on Connecticut road, We walked everywhere and sometimes used the scooter and it was lovely. The local restaurants close to the hotel were great, and even delivery was good. The neighborhood was clean and safe, if you enjoy walks this location is for you. The cafe and bar in the hotel were also pretty convenient. Housekeeping came in daily to freshen up our room, there was laundry on site which was also convenient.

Staff were great, I asked a lot of them and they never failed to help with a smile. The cafe downstairs was great for a quick bite in the morning, loved the breakfast sandwich! Location was great for either heading into DC or to get to Silverlands or Maryland. Transport also very good being so close to DuPont Circle. I stayed in a shared dorm and a private room and both were nice, clean, spacious and comfy.
